I hope you enjoyed a mint julep and/or a margarita with fresh lime (yes, that makes all the difference) this weekend and are now getting ready to jump into a productive week.
I'm currently in Dublin enjoying the unusually warm weather and outrageously friendly people. Plus, my mom and I both received our 23&me results this week and surprise, surprise - these redheads are close to 60% Irish! So, in honor of my (Irish) mom and Mother's Day next Sunday, here is a gift guide for the occasion. If you read through this and still don't think any of these are quite right or if you love them but need a gift for another occasion, I'm happy to help! Get started with a gift recommendation here.

For the Mom Who Needs Some TLC
These are the MOST. COMFORTABLE. PJS. EVER. I ordered a pair for my mom for Christmas last year and she practically lives in the navy color. I asked for them for my birthday in a lovely floral and I understand my mom’s obsession - they are so soft, they don’t cling and unlike other PJs of a similar material and weight, you can’t see right through them. This would be perfect for new moms, or a mom who desperately needs some rest or relaxation. Or, you know, anyone who enjoys lounging in something ridiculously comfortable. PSA - these run a bit large.
For the Mom Who Appreciates Handmade Art
My friend Brit at Paper & Clay makes the most lovely pottery, including this vase. It’s in a shade of pinky-peach that’s almost iridescent. It measures approximately 9” tall and holds about a dozen stems. If you’re in Memphis, I would suggest that you pair this with a small arrangement from Garden District or Everbloom Design, which is right down the street from Paper & Clay on Broad Avenue in Memphis.
For the Sentimental Mom Who "Doesn't Want Anything for Mother's Day."
Yep, my mom says this too. But if you’re like me (and you probably are since you’re reading a blog with gift ideas) you don’t actually believe her. What your mom means when she says “I don’t need anything,” is that she doesn’t need more stuff (or she does, but she doesn’t want you to spend your hard-earned money on that, and you should keep it for something you want…). I love Minted because you can get as custom as you want with your photo collage style, or opt for something completely customized and do a quote. I recently sent my mom for this Mother’s Day a framed rose-gold foil quote of “When they go low, we go high” from Michelle Obama because it’s something we say to each other often. She just received it today and loves it!

For the Mom Who Loves to Entertain
Rosé. It’s maybe the perfect drink to sip at a summer soirée and The Summer Water Societé is the best way to buy it. If your mom loves to host friends, she will thoroughly enjoy the three-month subscription. In May she will receive 3 limited edition magnums of Summer Water (equal to 6 bottles), in June she will get a 24-pack of Summer Water Droplets (individual-sized bottles), and then again in July she will receive 3 more magnums. Running out of rosé will be a thing of the past…thanks to you!
$350 for the 3-month club (you can also purchase a bottle here.)
For the Mom on the Go
These shoes - you guys. I bought them before my trip to Ireland for the airport/plane and i’ve never been so pleased with a purchase of shoes. I highly recommend them for any mom who spends a lot of time on her feet, running through airports, or running after a toddler!
